In 1984 Gene and Lee Anne Schmidt decided to purchase Kings Lanes here in Arlington. After a few years of just being a bowling alley they decided to add on a little extra by putting in the Spare Room Lounge, which was a quaint little bar mainly catering just the bowlers. In 1996 Gene and Leeanne made a big decision to make the Spare Room into Schmidty’s Bar and Grill, the rest is history. Now with Kings Lanes and Schmidty’s you get the best of it all. Come in and try our great bar food with your favorite beverage and watch the game or decide to take on the lanes. We have open, league and tournament bowling for all levels.

Schmidty’s Bar and Grill is a great little mom and pop bar here in Arlington. Come join your friends for Happy Hour Monday thru Friday from 5:30 to 6:30 where every drink is a $1.00 off. If your hungry Schmidty’s opens for lunch at 11 am Monday thru Saturday and 1 on Sundays. Come and Enjoy Gene’s homemade soups and salads he takes great pride in or go with our famous broasted gizzards and chicken. If looking for something else we have a wide variety of appetizers, burgers and baskets to cover everyone's appetite!
